DSHK’s first eight years have served as a launchpad, providing us invaluable insights and evidence to shape the future. The next challenge is to translate this into an equally sustainable high school.

On the design flight deck with us is Russell Cailey and his accomplished team at Elham Studio. Russell Cailey has been on board for several years in the co-pilot seat of our middle school program, while he served as Principal of the traveling Think Global School and subsequently CEO of its think tank Think Learning Studio. During his tenure, he has led Think Global School to garner various accolades: 2024 Spear’s School Index Top Ten Private Schools, Winner of the 2023 Progressive Education Delivery Award, recognition by Apple as a Distinguished School for Innovation, Leadership, and Educational Excellence, and many more.

It is armed with these stellar credentials when he designed our Middle School Trailblazer Curriculum that offers frontier perspectives into our already progressive Dalton plan. Building on its early but noticeable success, we have distilled their wisdom, and bolstered it with a global examination of leading models, emerging trends, and cutting-edge research, that dovetails into a flight path most aligned with DSHK’s vision and unique context as we navigate our High School mission.
